Fall Fun in Door County
You can ask anyone in Door County, Fall is one of the most incredible times to be here. We know this year is very different, with no festivals, or the usual Door County Fall fun, but that doesn’t mean there aren’t still things to enjoy safely and do while coming up to see the beautiful Fall landscapes! Check out some of the fun things we have to offer in Door County for you this Fall!
1: Grab Your Coffee, your food and have a picnic! There are many beautiful spots to take curbside pickup from your favorite local eatery (Door County Coffee has curbside pickup!), grab a cup of Pumpkin Spice, and find yourself a spot to enjoy it among the changing leaves! From Cave Point, to Peninsula State Park, there are so many places to enjoy a good meal and the Fall colors!
2: Take the trip north, to Gills Rock, and enjoy the most iconic landscape Door County has to offer! The winding road is one of the most breathtaking views, with the red, orange, and yellow leaves painting the side of the road. This is an absolute MUST SEE if you are planning a trip up here for Fall!
3: Grab your family and find a trail for some hiking! We have so many trails that offer space and fresh air, all while seeing the beautiful colors of Fall! Some of our favorites are the Ridges Sanctuary in Bailey’s Harbor, Potawatomi State Park, Cave Point or Peninsula State Park! If hiking isn’t your thing, you can also rent bikes or bring your own!
4: We know it is a little more chilly, but throw on a sweatshirt and grab your life jacket, and take a scenic kayak tour along the shoreline!
