Full Time Inventory Analyst

We are excited to announce that we have a full-time position available here at Door County Coffee for the right person! The main responsibilities of this position include: meeting inventory goals, forecasting needs, placing orders, expediting and receiving goods.


Inventory Analyst would be working directly with key Sales Team members who will advise them on new items and opportunities, peak seasons, suggested drops, etc. Analyst will also work directly with our Vendors to negotiate optimum pricing, terms, etc.

Inventory Management:

Regular physical counts and NetSuite ERP updates on all items we purchase for wholesale and ecommerce sales, specifically all coffees (bulk, packaged), tea, cocoa, accessories.



Purchase responsibility would be for all items we sell to wholesale customers. Special consideration must be made to maximize sales and inventory turn, focus on expiration dates, with care given to lowest freight cost, order minimums, etc. Candidate would be responsible to receive this inventory, check accuracy, enter expiration dates, etc. and physically FIFO on shelf. Any discrepancies would be so noted and given to AP for proper payment.


Special Projects:

As needed, this person would create reports, analyze trends, forecast, and use data to make recommendations to improve overall company performance.


Skill set required for this position:

-Fluency with Microsoft office suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

-Strong background in Microsoft Excel (building tables, charts)

-Strength in accounting, forecasting

-Purchasing background, a plus

-Familiarity with Netsuite, a plus

-Bachelors Degree, a plus

This position is based at our Café and Roasting facility in Carlsville, WI – just north of Sturgeon Bay on Hwy 42. It is a full-time, year-round position. Monday – Friday with hours that are approximately 8 am to 4:30 pm.
