Easy Coffee Chocolate Pie

This is a Door County Coffee Fan recipe. It was not made in the kitchens of the Door County Coffee Cafe.



Featured ingredient: Amaretto Coffee 10 oz. Bag Ground

  • 1 cup cold Door County Amaretto Coffee
  • 1 ready-made graham cracker pie crust
  • 2 (3.9 oz.) packages instant chocolate pudding mix
  • 2 squares semi-sweet melted baking chocolate
  • 1/4 cup sweetened condensed milk
  • 3/4 chopped almonds
  • 1 cup cold milk
  • 1 (8-oz) carton non-dairy whipped topping, thawed


1. In a medium bowl, mix together the melted baking chocolate and sweetened, condensed milk; stir until smooth
2. Pour into pre-made pie crust
3. Sprinkle nuts over top and gently press down - refrigerate for 10 minutes
4. In a large bowl, combine pudding mix, milk and Door County Amaretto Coffee; whisk until smooth
5. Spread 3/4 of mixture over nuts and first layer in crust
6. Stir 1/2 of the whipped topping into remaining pudding and spread over pudding in crust
7. Top with remaining whipped topping - toasted and chopped almonds may be added for garnish
8. Refrigerate until serving
