Perk Me Up Coffee Smoothie

"This is a refreshing coffee smoothie that is sure to impress your taste buds. Serve in individual mason jars and garnish with a dollop of whipped cream and chocolate shavings. The recipe can easily be doubled for a delicious treat to your overnight guests. Simply brew a pot of Door County Crème coffee in the evening and chill it in the refrigerator overnight. This is also a great 'on the go' breakfast for those busy mornings!"
This is a Door County Coffee Fan recipe. It was not made in the kitchens of the Door County Coffee Cafe.
Ingredients
Featured ingredient: Vanilla Hazelnut Coffee 10 oz. Bag Ground
½ cup Door County Crème Coffee - cold brewed (find the Cold Brew Toddy Kit here!)
½ cup milk (2% or whole milk gives the creamiest flavor)
1 ripe banana
2 tablespoons creamy peanut butter
1 teaspoon unsweetened cocoa powder (optional)
1 ½ teaspoons honey
1 cup ice cubes
Instructions
1. Add all ingredients listed in a blender.
2. Blend on high until all ingredients are well mixed.
3. Serve in a mason jar or any other individual cup.
4. Garnish with whipped cream and chocolate shavings.
