Cold Brew Sipping Season is Here!

The grass is green, the boat is at the dock, vacation is around the corner, that must mean one thing….Summer is almost here! And when the weather gets hot, we like to do one thing, make our coffee cold! That’s right, Cold Brew season is here, and we have some tips and tricks on how you can enjoy it at home!

We offer Toddy Brewers in our café and online, or we also off a complete kit, coffee included, right on our website! You can also purchase the at-home Toddy Kit on its own in our cafe! Grab your kit and your favorite Door County Coffee and you are already almost there! Your kit will include the Toddy Cold Brew Coffee Maker - including the Brewing Container with Handle, Glass Decanter with Lid, Reusable Filters (2), Rubber Stopper (1), Instructions & Recipe Guide and a Door County Coffee Growler for perfect Cold Storage. You can also choose between flavored coffee or non-flavored coffee to come with your kit and we send two of the most popular kinds of coffee for cold brew for each for you to try!

So what are our favorites for cold brew? Glad you asked! Cold Brew is great with our many flavor options, like Cherry Crème or Coconut Cupcakes, but Non-Flavored coffee like Black & Tan also make the perfectly smooth, never bitter Cold Brew as well! You just use the entire contents of a 10oz bag of coffee, and 7 cups of water, and voila – the perfect batch of Cold Brew Concentrate! Then, depending on the strength you like, you add 1 part concentrate to 3 parts water, and you are all set! It really is as easy as 1, 2, 3!

Plain, or with a splash of cream, Cold Brew coffee is the best kind of way to cool off after a long day on the boat, or a long hike through Peninsula State Park.
