Baked Hawaiian Hazelnut Bliss Donuts

This is a Door County Coffee Fan recipe. It was not made in the kitchens of the Door County Coffee Café.
Ingredients
Featured ingredient: Hawaiian Hazelnut Coffee 10 oz. Bag Ground
Hawaiian Hazelnut Bliss Donuts:
- 1/8 cup Door County Hawaiian Hazelnut Coffee, finely ground
- 3/4 cup Bread Flour
- 1/3 cup unsweetened Cocoa powder
- 1/2 tsp. baking soda
- 1/4 tsp. fine sea salt
- 1/3 cup vanilla yogurt
- 1/4 cup milk
- 2/3 cup sugar
- 1 large beaten egg
- 3 Tbsp. melted butter
- 1 tsp. vanilla extract
Caramel Drizzle:
- 1 tsp. Door County Hawaiian Hazelnut Coffee, finely ground
- 1 cup packed brown sugar
- 1 cup butter
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1 tsp. vanilla extract
Instructions
Hawaiian Hazelnut Bliss Donuts:

- Preheat oven to 325°F and spray doughnut pan with nonstick spray.
- In a large mixing bowl, whisk bread flour, cocoa powder, ground coffee, baking soda, and sea salt.
- Make a well in the center of the dry mixture, and add the yogurt, milk, sugar, beaten egg, melted butter, and vanilla. With a large wooden spoon, gently stir together mixture until smooth.
- Spoon mixture into a plastic resealable bag, close and cut a corner with scissors. Squeeze batter into pan about 2/3 full.
- Bake about 12 minutes or until doughnuts spring bag when touched. Cool about 10 minutes in pan on cooling rack, then turn onto rack to cool.
Caramel Drizzle:

- Place ground coffee, brown sugar, butter, and milk in a saucepan and bring to a boil.
- Cook and stir until thick, a few minutes.
- Allow to cool at least until just warm to drizzle over doughnuts.
