Cinnamon Hazelnut Chocolate Chip Cookies

"Your classic chocolate chip cookie with a coffee-lovers twist! Grounds of Cinnamon Hazelnut Coffee, one of our best-selling flavored coffees, mixed right into the dough gives these cookies a wonderful coffee taste. Rolling the dough in sugar before baking is the 'icing on the cake'. YUM!"

Ingredients
Featured ingredient: Cinnamon Hazelnut Coffee 10 oz. Bag Ground
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 1/2 tablespoons Cinnamon Hazelnut Coffee grounds
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 1/2 cups brown sugar
- 1 cup margarine
- 1 tablespoon vanilla
- 1 egg
- 1 (12 oz.) package dark chocolate chips
- 1/8 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar for rolling cookie dough ball
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees
- Line large baking sheets with foil
- In a medium bowl add flour Cinnamon Hazelnut Coffee grounds, baking powder, and salt and stir till combined
- In a large bowl add brown sugar and margarine, mix well; add vanilla and egg, beat until combined; Stir in flour mixture and dark chocolate chips
- Scoop dough into 2 inch balls
- In ziplock baggy add sugar and cinnamon, mix till combined
- Roll cookie dough ball in sugar mixture
- Place dough 2 inches apart onto baking sheet, use tines on the back of a fork and flatten into a criss-cross pattern
- Bake for 13 minutes, roughly eight cookies on a sheet,
- Allow to cool and remove from pan
