Door County Cherry Salad
One of our most requested salads on the menu at the Door County Coffee Café, with the infamous dried cherries sprinkled throughout, this is perfect for a light lunch or dinner that “tastes like Door County”!
- 3 oz. Spring Mix lettuce
- 1/4 cup toasted walnuts
- 1/4 cup dried cherries
- Cherry Vinaigrette
- Wash and clean Spring Mix lettuce.
- Heat a large frying pan over medium high heat. Add walnuts to the hot, dry pan and cook, watching constantly and stirring frequently, until walnuts start to brown and smell toasted, about 5 minutes.
- Toss dried cherries and toasted walnuts with lettuce.
- Add Cherry Vinaigrette to your liking.
