How have I been living without this delectable pumpkin butter all my life? The creamy, spreadable stuff you can slather on just about anything. It makes for a quick and easy breakfast or snack on the go. Smear it on toast or eat it with a spoonful.

If you do not have pumpkin pie spice, I am including a recipe to make your own. I am sure you have all the necessary ingredients in your spice rack.

Featured Product: Pumpkin Spice 8oz ground coffee

Spiced Pumpkin Butter Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup pumpkin spice coffee, brewed strong
  • 1 can pumpkin
  • 6 TBSP pure maple syrup
  • 1 tsp pumpkin pie spice
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • 1/8 tsp salt

Instructions

  1. Brew (on the strong side) a pot of Door County Pumpkin Spice Coffee. Reserve 1/2 cup.
  2. Add the coffee and remaining ingredients to a medium-size non-stick pot. Stir. Heat on med/high until it starts to boil
  3. Reduce the temperature and simmer until the mixture starts to thicken, approx. 30 mins. Stir every few minutes. The longer you simmer it, the thicker it will become.

Note: Taste and adjust to the desired sweetness and spice
