Triple Layer Brownies
Triple the deliciousness with this treat made in the Door County Coffee Cafe! The hint of cinnamon in the middle layer makes for a pleasant surprise with each bite...and it looks pretty divine too!!
Ingredients
Layer 1

- 8 oz. unsweetened chocolate
- 2 cups melted butter
- 4 cups sugar
- 4 tsp. vanilla
- 8 eggs
- 2 cups flour
Layer 2 - Cream Cheese Frosting

- 4 cups powdered sugar
- 8 oz. cream cheese, softened
- 3/4 cup butter, softened
- 2 Tbsp. milk
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
Layer 3 - Chocolate Frosting

- 3 cups powdered sugar
- 1/2 cup butter
- 2/3 cup cocoa powder
- 1/3 cup milk
- 1 tsp. coffee extract
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- Layer 1:
- Melt 8 oz. unsweetened chocolate and 2 cups butter together.
- Mix and add in 4 cups of sugar.
- Add in 4 tsp. vanilla and 8 eggs one at a time.
- Mix in 2 cups flour.
- Pour batter into a 12x17 jelly roll pan and bake for 30-40 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean.
- Let cool and place in the freezer until hard enough to spread on layer 2.
- Layer 2:
- Mix powdered sugar, cream cheese, butter, milk and vanilla to make a cream cheese frosting.
- Add in 1 tsp. cinnamon and spread over Layer 1. Once cream cheese frosting is spread on freeze again before adding Layer 3.
- Layer 3:
Mix powdered sugar, milk, butter, cocoa powder and 1 tsp. pure coffee extract to make chocolate frosting. Spread over the cream cheese frosting layer.
