Chicken Dumpling Soup

Just like Grandma used to make, this classic soup made with home-made dumplings is still one of our favorites on a cold day!



  • 2 cups cooked white meat chicken – cut into chunks
  • 1 c. shredded carrots
  • 2 stalks celery, chopped
  • ½ c. onion, chopped
  • 3 Quarts water
  • 4 T Chicken Base
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp celery salt
  • ½ tsp poultry seasoning
  • Homemade dumplings ( Use your family favorite recipe!)



  1. Combine all ingredients in soup kettle and cook until vegetables are tender.
  2. Before serving make a batch of your favorite dumplings and add them after cooking!
