Chicken Dumpling Soup
Just like Grandma used to make, this classic soup made with home-made dumplings is still one of our favorites on a cold day!
- 2 cups cooked white meat chicken – cut into chunks
- 1 c. shredded carrots
- 2 stalks celery, chopped
- ½ c. onion, chopped
- 3 Quarts water
- 4 T Chicken Base
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp celery salt
- ½ tsp poultry seasoning
- Homemade dumplings ( Use your family favorite recipe!)
- Combine all ingredients in soup kettle and cook until vegetables are tender.
- Before serving make a batch of your favorite dumplings and add them after cooking!
