The Most Wonderful Time of The Year!

There is snow falling and the weather has turned cold. There is a pot of Door County Christmas on and you pour yourself another cup. The lights from the Christmas tree glisten from the living room. This truly is the most wonderful time of the year! There is so much fun to be had at Christmastime, and we just had to share some of our favorite things with you!

1: Bake ALL the Christmas cookies: Try some of our favorite recipes, using our Holiday coffee to fill up your plate for Santa, and to enjoy with all your friends and family this year! From using old ornaments, or dressing up an old wreath to make it new, there are so many fun ways to decorate for the Holiday’s with things you already have at home! Just make sure the coffee is hot while you are working – we hear it helps the creativity flow!

6: Shop Local: There is something to be said about shopping at the local stores and boutiques in your hometown, especially here in Door County. Every little town in Door County has cute stores, from Cornucopia and Bliss in Sturgeon Bay, to our store and Door County Candle in Carlsville, Plus so many more! Just take a ride through your downtown and stop and shop along the way! Plus, you are guarantees to see some beautiful holiday lights and displays in every storefront, what could be better!

7: Attend A Holiday Event: If you have been to Door County, you know we love to have an event! You can find a Holiday event every weekend from mid-November through the end of the year! Form Holiday parades to tree lightings and scavenger hunts, there is no fun shortage around here during the Christmas season! Most towns will have a Christmas parade or some kind of fun event, so just look into your city's social media or web page and see what you can find! There is nothing better than making a cup of hot cocoa and heading to the local tree lighting, you really feel like you re living in a Hallmark movie!
